My name is Lacey, (nickname Lacey Bee)!
I have had the privilege to photograph families and couples for the last 17 years here in Arizona. It has been a passion of mine to create meaningful work for those who embrace the importance of life and family.As a mom of two little ones, I understand how significant photos are. I love to look back on all the years, the average days, the smiles and their cute personalities. Photos bring me back to what's important in life. Every session, I pour my heart and expertise into my work so that you walk away with a gallery that means something to you. I want images that wow you every time, images you hang on your walls , the ones that make it to every important event in your life. Ones you proudly pass down for years to come.
I will guide you in front of the camera in a way that makes the photos feel effortless, so you feel beautiful, comfortable and you leave saying that was so fun!

A fast turnaround (3-7 days)! I have perfected my editing process and can provide images quicker than most without giving up any quality of work.
Familiar with all the good Arizona spots! I have tons of location options in the valley based on what you want. Trees? Desert? City? Old fun neighborhoods? Water? I got you! I ‘ve been to these spots multiple times and know the best lighting, the parking, etc.

My editing style. I’ve nailed down my editing over the last 17 years to create images that stand out from the rest. I have photographed in dark lighting, cloudy stormy weather, bright mid day light, candle light, and more. I understand how to photograph in different scenarios and create consistent lovely images. I make skin tones feel true to life, creamy and soft. I don’t copy and paste a preset to every session because everyone is different.
Worked with kids for years! You need someone who is patient, flexible and goes with the flow, especially when working with kids and larger families. I’ve been an art teacher and worked with kids for years. I also have two little ones myself.
You need a photographer who hears your desires for your session and cares about exceeding your expectations.
You desire a gallery filled with tons of images instead of a set amount. I always aim for more to give you lots of options. I also always include a black and white copy to every image.

What it looks like to work together… start to finish!

1.Inquire:
Send me an email on my website. You should hear from me within 48 hours. Check your spam folder!

2. Nailing down the details:
We will find a date, time and location. I have a client guide filled with my favorite locations.

3.Deposit and Contract:
I'll send you a booking invoice and contract link through U- Session. I take a deposit about 30% down of the total to hold your date and time.

4. Leading up to your Session:
Leading up to your session we stay communicating via text or email confirming dates, locations and other details I feel you need. If you have questions, like "what do I wear?" I am here to help narrow down the options or make suggestions.

5.Session day:
Show up to your session about 5-10 minutes prior to park and get prepared.
I will introduce myself to your family and we will get to know one another as we walk to the spot/location together.
I will give you some fun prompts to play and connect with one another. We will move about the location and try different poses. I will guide you the whole time, sometimes letting you carry on in a moment to really get true candid emotions.
If you have an outfit change we will do that about half way through.
Before we wrap up, I will ask if there are any other poses you’d like me to try.
We will pack up and I’ll let you know what to expect next with your turnaround, sneak peeks and gallery delivery.

6. Gallery Delivery:
Sneak peeks come within a day via text. I’ll usually send 4 images.
It takes me about 3 to 7 days to finish editing and send you an email of your full gallery including a slideshow. I do about 3-5 revisions, correcting the images over and over until it’s perfected.
If I have no other client galleries, you may get yours within 24-48 hours of your session.
I include a nice slideshow with music to watch for the first viewing. I suggest to do it on a desktop and make it a fun viewing with your family.
If viewing on an iphone, be sure to turn off True Tone (where dark mode is).
Any adjustments must be requested within 3 days.

Professional Private Gallery
A seamless, user friendly gallery that can be viewed on a desktop or mobile device. Download your entire gallery or each photo individually to share online.
You can also print the high image resolution images with any print shop.
Slideshow
I love to suggest a viewing with your family or partner. Grab your snacks and cozy up on the couch with a laptop or on your tv and view the photos for the first time with your slideshow.

Highlight reel
Video adds a layer to your gallery that is just a *chef’s kiss! I absolutely love a highlight reel of the special moments. This is perfect for any session and I make it so you have the horizontal and the vertical reel format.

This package is for those who need a shorter session or something more in their budget range while not giving up quality. This is similar to the full hour but more traditional poses and for those who want beautiful, quality photos.
Great for seniors, headshots, families with little ones who need less time.

This is my most picked package- and here's why. The 60-75 minutes allows everyone to get used to the camera, explore the location we choose, and more storytelling, playful posings. I provide the highest quality images, a quick but detailed editing turnaround and my professional 17+ of experience..

Maternity & Newborn Bundle!

A full hour maternity session. You can upgrade to travel, if you’d prefer.
I suggest to photograph around 33-36 weeks.

Get your second full hour half off when bundled with the maternity session.
These are my speciality. These are not your traditional newborn sessions. I don’t swaddle them or handle them at all. I prefer to give you prompts that feel more natural and relaxed as you enjoy your little new baby.
I get the details, the solo shots, the family together, and any activity you’d like to do: a first bath, milk bath, cuddles, playing with your older children, your backyard, etc.

Both sessions must be full hours. The second session is half off.
Newborn sessions can be up until the baby is 3 months old.The best time is about 2 to 4 weeks old.
The Artsy Experience

Two hours at a studio or outdoor location, with multiple outfit changes (3-4), props welcome, and a curated experience.
I will customize this session with you, going over outfits, props, artistic ideas, and more.

Do you travel?
Studio fees are not included but there are plenty of outdoor free locations I love to use if a studio is out of budget. There is also Casa Peony’s cavas room or Four Silos outdoor area which are both a great price

We can shoot really any time of day, but the photos will look different based on when we do. I prefer to shoot an hour to 1.5 hours before the sun sets to get the best light.
For indoor, I prefer around 9/10/11am
Can I split a session with a friend?

I don’t do mini sessions unless I plan a mini session day for multiple time slots back to back. I do those in Fall and Spring and post to my instagram .
Definitely! It will be split down the middle as far as time and images go.
Can you provide the RAW images?

I do not include RAWS. All images are edited and given as a final JPEG in your gallery at the highest quality.
