Thank you for supporting my work!
Taking photography started back when I was in high school. My older sister was rocking her pink punk hair in California one year, and she asked for a photo on these stairs. I flipped out my now-dinosaur-of-a-point and shoot- camera and began posing her. Those were gold... Or maybe it all began years prior when I was a seven year old posing for my mom's camera on the stairs in my handmade dresses my mom sewed. My mom had this bulky film camera that I adored, but rarely got to handle. To this day her photo albums make my heart sing. But no, it could be the year my parents saved up to buy me my first digital SLR camera for yearbook class. I didn't use it once in yearbook. Instead, I began photographing every friend I had, including my sister rocking a more normal-non-punk look. I took the camera everywhere, wore it down, and through the years, I began this business. I named it after my nickname, Lacey Bee.
I attended and received my bachelors in Art Education (fine arts) at Arizona State University back in 2016. I got married to my best friend, had kittens (adopted, not had), and moved to Washington. And through the years of photography, I have met some AMAZING clients. They are loyal and wonderful, and I am always grateful to those who choose to work with me. Photography opens the door to meet people I would otherwise probably never meet. I even got to document my church's mission team in Jamaica in 2017! I am down to do more of that.
I never knew photography would grow into the huge industry it is today. Which I think it is great. To those people just starting out, please let me know if I can help in any way.
and with that, please continue through my site..
